This was a dry bulk carrier, with 9 meters draft,  which was idle for almost 60 days and was taken to Cristobal inner anchorage for underwater cleaning before her Panama Canal Transit.

Vessel was attended on her arrival to the anchorage and jobs took 8.5 hours.

Principals has requested an inspection on the bow thruster seals due to water ingress.

As soon as the ship got alongside Cristobal port, we have obtained the following 4K pictures that shows the oil leak from the bow thruster propeller shaft.

After reviewing the pictures, superintendent and the master decided to sail and perform repairs on next call – Due to ship’s itinerary.
